About Me
As both a parent and a provider, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to navigate the world of neurodivergence, a new diagnosis, or the many recommendations from professionals. Raising my two neurodivergent children has been both joyful and difficult. Frequently I struggled to find consistent support that valued my perspective and experience as the parent. I often felt disconnected from behavioral approaches and began seeking developmental alternatives. Discovering DIRFloortime® shaped my belief that connection, understanding, and honoring each child's individuality are at the heart of meaningful support.
In addition to my lived experience, I bring advanced DIRFloortime® certification, graduate-level social work training, and more than six years of professional experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families across home, school, clinical, and community settings. My background includes partnering with caregivers to better understand their child's developmental profile, navigating challenging behaviors, strengthening relationships, navigating systemic support barriers, and building confidence in responding to everyday obstacles. Through parent coaching, I provide practical, neurodiversity-affirming guidance that helps families feel empowered, supported, and hopeful in their journey.
